The forthcoming 2023 IPL auction appears to be no exception, with an array of top-tier players slated to be on offer. This year’s auction eventuated in notable transactions as the franchises vied with each other to augment their squads. Overview of IPL 2023

The 16th edition of IPL 2023 was started on the 31st of March, 2023 as stated by verified sources, with the final game being held on the 28th of May, 2023. 10 Teams participated in this sewarson of IPL. 2 news teams was added from the previous 8 season’s, as two new teams are Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants, were added in 2022. A total of 74 matches are to be played in IPL 2023.


The franchises had completed their preparations with the squads decided at the auction held in December of last year. A double-round-robin format will be followed in the tournament. Similar to the previous season, the teams are divided into two groups with each team competing against every team in their group and two teams from the other group, both at home and away.
